Refugee blowback

These new concerns about internal attacks by pro-Syrian "Americans" is an object lesson in the foolishness of foreign intervention and granting residence to foreign allies from the losing side:
Islamic extremist groups in Syria with ties to Al Qaeda are trying to identify, recruit and train Americans and other Westerners who have traveled there to get them to carry out attacks when they return home, according to senior American intelligence and counterterrorism officials.

These efforts, which the officials say are in the early stages, are the latest challenge that the conflict in Syria has created, not just for Europe but for the United States, as the civil war has become a magnet for Westerners seeking to fight with the rebels against the government of President Bashar al-Assad. At least 70 Americans have either traveled to Syria, or tried to, since the civil war started three years ago, according to the intelligence and counterterrorism officials — a figure that has not previously been disclosed.

The director of the F.B.I., James B. Comey, said Thursday that tracking Americans who have returned from Syria had become one of the bureau’s highest counterterrorism priorities.
From WWII to the Syrian civil war, refugees have created massive problems for America. It's one thing to grant humanitarian assistance and to help resettle people who are in danger. But semi-civilized peoples shouldn't ever be resettled in civilized first world nations.

Diversity encompasses the civilized and the savage alike. And it is always a mistake to allow barbarians to enter the gates.

The refugee system in the US is filled with fraud and deceit.

Fake refuges, many lying or bribing their way in often with the help of foreign governments who want to get rid of them

Fake charities who run the system and who get most of their money not from people giving but from the taxpayer.

Deceitful US foreign policy which uses refugee quotas to buy influence with foreign government even to the point of helping with ethnic cleansing of unwanted minorities from foreign countries.

Fraud on the taxpayers who get stuck with the bill and deceitful lies to the localities about the cost of trying to turn these refuges into productive citizens

Simple solution: Don't let them back in.

Aren't these the same "Freedom" fighters we almost started WWIII (and would have if the Brit's wouldn't have said NO) to help?

They must be running out of Christians to behead in the Middle East and need a new source for their blood to heaven transactions.

More like 70 potential malls would be my guess. Need more cameras.

I've daydreamed about heading to Syria to fight alongside the Christians, but if I returned I bet that I would be persecuted by Obama and his spies.

These idiots got the Saudi playbook all wrong.

Step 1 is export your troublesome youth.

Step 2 is not let them back in.

In fact, there is no step 2.

Is support for refugee resettlement in the USA a paleocon or neocon position?

If we had sane leadership this would not be a problem because, a) they never would have been brought into the US in the first place, and b) had they been native born Americans who participated in a foreign civil war, they would have been stripped of the citizenship and never been allowed to return.

"according to senior American intelligence and counterterrorism officials"..

Well I guess we can believe everything they tell us. Maybe they just want to keep people on their toes and they need to come out with some kind of fear mongering every now and then.

So if it does happen, the Neocons will have a tougher time starting unnecessary wars and the Left will have a really difficult time clinging to the whole "Islam is the religion of piece" non-sense. I guess the only downside is for those who are maimed / die in the upcoming attacks.

Yes, bring in the 85 IQ crowd and can't compete with our indigenous population and then convince yourself that you did a good and noble thing.

So, now that the wars have displaced our Christian brethren, is it more moral to bring them here and put them on the welfare roles, or let them carve out a new home in unfriendly
Lands where they will probably be butchered?

Good job Curious Jorge and Obama. It's true what they say, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

The only way this makes sense is to drum up support for the "War on Terror" and an expansion of the United Security States. Either or both reasons are far more likely than "humanitarianism".

The key word is "If" Check out the Abraham Lincoln Brigade on Wiki. We not only allowed the communists back from Spain's civil war; but, gave them awards.

Semi related. In Australia overheard a foreign guy talking to his gf who had failed to update her student visa in time so she was going to apply for a refugee visa...because being an absent minded bitch from a rich Asian family is a humanitarian crisis. The refugee system the world over is abused and used as a backdoor for wealthier families to pay their way into first world countries

Cinco: "Good job Curious Jorge and Obama. It's true what they say, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions."

This road to Hell was paved with bad intentions. Anti-whites, including neocons, want to bring in as many non-whites as they can, to genocide whites, whether by assimilation or violence and "white flight" or some combination of the two.

Any excuse is good enough. Syrians to Sweden! Why? It's not the Swedes' fault or their problem but they'll get them anyway.

The excuses why hordes of non-whites have to be let in vary from place to place, but the bottom line, which is the white genocide agenda, is always and everywhere the same.

Barbarians is exactly the right word to use Vox.

But what underwrites this endeavor more than anything else is the Holy Cow called Secularism.

You can trash Christianity. You can mildly criticize other religions in highly qualified and hushed tones. But no-one can lay a finger on Holy Secularism as it wasn't preached by the Founding Fathers of the USA - whom to a man swore on a Bible to take office..

Cognitive Dissonance is deadly.

"DonReynolds- Yes in 1947 (quietly) 1953 more publicly when we began the anti-Communism stance. Still in public they were hosted by Liberal groups until 1970. There was no public condemnation.

"they would have been stripped of the citizenship and never been allowed to return." Didn't happen though it should have.

"But semi-civilized peoples shouldn't ever be resettled in civilized first world nations."

While I agree with the overall premise, I would advise against absolutes - because from a Christian perspective, God knows no boundaries. I know a man who was a refugee from the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 who is now a professor at USNA and has instructed thousands of students who are now prominent leaders in our Marine Corps and Navy. He is a proud American citizen who didn't have any experience with a civilized society and has since contributed much to our country.

Another man I know is an Iranian refugee who was a trained terrorist who later defected and by all indications should have been a huge red flag to civilized society. By the grace of God he was saved and now tours the country speaking at churches and other events about the dark side of Islam and the veracity of Christianity, winning many converts of middle eastern descent.

It goes without saying that there are always exceptions to a rule - but your absolute statements seem unforgiving when the ways in which God works are always manifold and amazing, breaking down barriers and making things new. I would not advocate that the walls must come down and anyone should be allowed entry, but using words like "ever" and "always" don't leave much room for grace.

Wild Bill, I think "peoples" is the key word. That infers a number of people from a similar background and culture (low-IQ, low-time preference) who can wreak havoc in an already established higher-IQ, high-time preference culture.
