A society in decline

Declining life expectancy is the expected result of a society that has peaked and is on the way down:
One of the fundamental ways scientists measure the well-being of a nation is tracking the rate at which its citizens die and how long they can be expected to live.

So the news out of the federal government Thursday is disturbing: The overall U.S. death rate has increased for the first time in a decade, according to an analysis of the latest data. And that led to a drop in overall life expectancy for the first time since 1993, particularly among people younger than 65.

"This is a big deal," says Philip Morgan, a demographer at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill who was not involved in the new analysis.

"There's not a better indicator of well-being than life expectancy," he says. "The fact that it's leveling off in the U.S. is a striking finding."
One can't say it is surprising. The same thing happened in Russia under Yeltsin, when the country was being strip-mined by the oligarchs in the wake of the collapse of the Soviet Union. Russia has found its confidence again in its return to Christianity and nationalism, and both its birth rates and life expectancies are on the rise again.

If Americans are fortunate, the God-Emperor Ascendant will be half as good for his people as Putin has been for the Russians. The more foreigners are driven out, the more the secularists and atheists and pagans are forced to accept their second-rate status, the more America will be made great again.

Equalitarianism is neither just nor healthy, and diversity is no more a strength than war is peace or black is white. If it was, the diversity advocates wouldn't have to repeat it like a retarded mantra in defiance of all history and science.

The great irony is that allowing minorities equal status in a society is not only bad for the majority, it is almost always bad for the minorities themselves. After all, if they were even remotely capable of constructing a society in which they wanted to live in the first place, they would be the majority.

I see a parallel here with Frankl's book "Man's Search for Meaning" re those who survived in the camps vs those who didn't. Those with a "why" to live could endure almost any "what" they faced. Why = meaning = reason to endure. Those who saw themselves without meaning, soon perished. I don't know what a secular culture looks to for meaning or why it should have faith. What is its telos?

I can't help but think that a lot of the suicides and drug use common in the US today comes from middle aged people lonely and depressed from not starting families of their own when they were younger. These people were lied to by the elites. It is family life that makes it all worth living. Single life is only fun for a while. My only answer to this problem is to encourage the young and young enough to get married and have a few kids. Even if you are older and can no longer have kids, you can still get married and have a happy life. It worked out for our parents and grandparents, and it can work out for us too.

The hope is that the thousands of leftists that have to deal with the new reality - that government and its social engineering breeds more suffering - have done a lot of reflection and inquiry and came to the realization that a way free of the Soroses is the better way.

A way towards truth, honor, fairness.

Of course, there will always be the vermin waiting in the wings, which is why we continue.

The point of arguing against leftists is to expose their lies, foolishness, and evil to the somnolent majority so that they may awake and join the fight.

Yes, and in which case, why is it better to live to be 90 than 80? More golf devalues golf.
We all "know" living longer is better. But why do we beleive that? I think that's a legitimate question. And I don't think a secular culture can provide a sufficient answer. Christian can and other true religions, no doubt.

@9 What I've found actually coverts people or "awakens" them is always some type of epiphany. Trump's campaign caused a lot of epiphanies in people - I personally know probably a dozen people who were center-left or independents who finally woke up when they saw the media's hyperbolic treatment of Trump. There's a lot of people out there who think right wing people are just acting in bad faith, or that we're sheep, but once they find out we're right about one thing, it can start a cascade of realization.

One person I know was a staunch lifelong Democrat who wanted Bernie instead of Hillary. Bernie Sander's treatment by the media surprised him, and once he saw how the media WOULD lie, he saw them go after Trump with unbelievable lies. He finally realized that the right WASN'T lying about the media: they REALLY are that bad. And after that first realization, the last few months has just been a nonstop diet of red pills for him ever since. He's about 90% of the way to alt-right now.

What gets people is that first epiphany that often leads to some kind of personal "preference cascade" where they quickly discover that all of the left-wing bullshit they used to believe is actually bullshit.

Piet Hein says of:"MAJORITY RULE

His party was the Brotherhood of Brothers,
and there were more of them than of the others.
That is, they constituted that minority
which formed the greater part of the majority.
Within the party, he was of the faction
that was supported by the greater fraction.
And in each group, within each group, he sought
the group that could command the most support.
The final group had finally elected
a triumvirate whom they all respected.
Now, of these three, two had final word,
because the two could overrule the third.
One of these two was relatively weak,
so one alone stood at the final peak.
He was: THE GREATER NUMBER of the pair
which formed the most part of the three that were
elected by the most of those whose boast
it was to represent the most of the most
of most of most of the entire state --
or of the most of it at any rate.
He never gave himself a moment's slumber
but sought the welfare of the greater number.
And all people, everywhere they went,
knew to their cost exactly what it meant
to be dictated to by the majority.
But that meant nothing, -- they were the minority."

Frankl's analysis only applies to the self-selected subset of Jews that failed to leave Germany during a decade of persecution by Nazis. Hardly a sample you can usefully generalize to a larger population.

I'd be more interested in analyzing those that got out long before the camps opened and adopting their strategies.

2. Group A gradually include individuals from Group B (who couldn't create a great society) out of misplaced empathy.

3. Group A watches incredulously as their great society declines and crashes as it is appropriated by Group B and resembles more and more Group B's original society.

Disagree with what exactly? The scientific principle of sampling and statistical inference?

I'm sure Frankl "was interested in universal human nature and the human condition" however he chose an unrepresentative, self-selected sample for his study so it is incorrect to extrapolate.

Whatever he intended, he showed what a specific group (religion, nationality, political nativity) does in the face of adversity. Again, I'm more interested in those that saw it coming and never ended up in the camps in the first place; whether they fled, hid or just preferred a bullet to getting on the train in the first place.

In most places and time, the family is a mini-Department of Health and Human Services. If you are unemployed, disabled or just old and worn out, who ya gonna call but your family? For example, a friend of mine's husband lost his job on Wall Street several years ago and was unable to find a decent job until recently, so she was the breadwinner. I asked her what would he have done without her.

Having a family also simply gives you a reason to live and persevere.

The "only applies to" part. His book is not titled "A Jewish Man's Search for Meaning." It's not a Jewish book. The fact that they were Jews (I don't think all of them were) is irrelevant, with regard to "application". The results of his analysis is of course theory. I think it is true. Christianity globally has about 2.2 billion adherents. Roughly 1 out of every three people on Earth claims to be Christian.

The bloodbath required to end Christianity is unimaginable in scope, and unlikely to be achieved by anything short of cosmic-level catastrophe.

The only challenge is to its dominance, not its existence: Islam may surpass it in % of the global population, sometime this century.

Nah, Tuatha. Think of it this way. The non-breeding, child-hating, progressive Christians that you think of as "christianity" will be gone. But those of us who are having 7-10 kids per family and raising them ourselves could very well be ascendant, with well-raised, Christian children who are not rebelling because they haven't been raised inside the culture that insists that rebellion is normal. In 30 years, given the rates of reproduction and faithfulness I'm seeing in the grown children of the Christian (not remotely churchian) parents I follow as mentors, I should have (Lord willin', and the creek don't rise) at least 40 grandchildren. :-D

Twenty-five years ago, people suffered from "juvenile diabetes" and "adult-onset diabetes." Now, it's "Type I" and "Type II," probably because Type II diabetes is common amongst the young.

There's an old saying: "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." The irony is that modern day medicine can do so much to cure or at least control a medical malady such as diabetes that there is less of an incentive to live a healthy life or else suffer, even die. People go on disability for self-inflicted medical problems related to obesity or drinking. That would have been unheard of a century ago because the consensus was that the taxpayer was no obligation to save the self-indulgent from the consequences of their own actions.

A friend of mine told me that there was a surgeon in a local hospital who owned performed bariatric (stomach reduction) surgery. That much business, huh?

@9 @13 People change from the inside, not from the outside, just like addicts. Our minds simply don't work the way we're told, taught and assume.

This is why persuasion is ineffective. Only those already in an open state of mind are receptive, and frankly, what they're looking for is simply a new rationale for what they're then predisposed to embrace.

Vox Popoli, Cernovich, Molineux, Breitbart, etc. don't change people's minds. They're simply oases that open-minded travelers find, discover camaraderie, and stay for the duration of the evolving Narrative.

As I see it, there are a few zealots for every idea. The idea whose time has come simply is the one that spontaneously is most appealing as waves of open-mindedness sweep a populace. The zealots (early adopters?) for that chosen idea become the leading lights of the New Narrative, but usually its the 2nd or 3rd wave of adopters who rise to rule under the new Narrative, not the very first (was Lenin a 2nd wave to Marx?)

We're in a time of change. Hugo's maxim applies.

When Cortes showed up in Mexico City, the Aztecs were sacrificing over 100,000 people a year. The priest class were the nobility, and they made the rules. Anyone who questioned the rules ended up in line for a beheading. Even if a priest had a moment of clarity and began to question their system, he was put in line for beheading. Through the systemic use of fear to control their people, the spider was caught in its own web and there no way for change to happen internally. The Spanish destruction of Aztec and Mayan records seems a great tragedy, but it was liberation for their descendants. The historical value of knowing who ruled when and did what pales to the value of giving the people a way out of their violent bondage. They could still believe in God, the point was they were no longer beholden how to believe.

For someone born in an Islamic country, the only option is to be raised Muslim. To be an apostate is a death sentence. There's no way out unless you leave. Some Muslims who've emigrated to the West over the last couple generations must have been glad to be free of the fanaticism. But others who emigrated brought their literal interpretations with them. Those who left home to find liberty elsewhere are now right back in the thick of why they left in the first place. Right or wrong, this doesn't end by exporting them back home, this ends with B-52s removing Mecca from the map, an eradication of their history and slaughter of 2/3s of their population.

Imagine if the Aztecs had defeated Cortes, then proceeded to sail west to Europe and brought their religion with them. This isn't about God anymore, and there's going to be no middle ground.

"Equalitarianism is neither just nor healthy, and diversity is no more a strength than war is peace or black is white. If it was, the diversity advocates wouldn't have to repeat it like a retarded mantra in defiance of all history and science."

About 15 years ago, I was trying to come up with something for a work assignment to generate more enthusiasm and support for a strategic initiative. We were trying to encourage diversity of opinion, because being open to debate and looking at a problem from different angles should lead to a better long term solution (if you have a strong, skilled facilitator).

I gave up after a few weeks, it just wasn't possible to come up with a good meme that passed my own personal BS filter.

If diversity is true, all these progressive soviet style slogans rammed down our eyeballs and ears would be like shouting "the sky is blue, water is wet, rocks are hard!" Imagine having to repeat over and over basic truths to get everyone to believe what is readily obvious.

Instead, they are repeating a lie, and thanks to this blog and many others (and God), we are sick of hearing this lie. We won't repeat it. We won't support it. It is not possible for those who love the truth to parrot a lie.

I'm going to try an experiment. Over the next 3 months, whenever I hear "Diversity is our strength", I'm going to say "water is wet". When asked why I say that, I'll say something along the lines of "Oh, I thought we were playing a game of repeating things that everyone knows are obviously true!".

The next 3 months, I'll try "Water is dry" instead.

I knew this day would come:
About 13 years ago I started sponsoring seminars along with a physician and a pharmacist and one topic we addressed was the declining life expectancy of Americans. The numbers were deceptive for a long time because of advances in prenatal care which improved infant survival rates (and the deliberate hiding of the true picture). Extrapolating those numbers out revealed an alarming trend ie declining life expectancy for Americans.
Anecdotally, we have seen in our extended circles (and I would submit this as an actual sampling not to be dismissed) of peers burying their children for deaths caused by conditions children used to bury their parents... and these are not your standard Walmart fare.
In addition, doctors are aware of Americans' generally weakened immune system as opposed to, say, Europeans.
After 12 years of research, I have reached some alarming conclusions regarding the factors, but it's too much for a blog post.
Correlating efforts with others interested in wellness in an attempt to educate people about how to maintain health instead of managing sickness left me burned out.
I've gone from not giving a damn about who's sick/dying (I take my own advice and am healthier than most half my age- acquaintances attribute it to good genes and nothing could be further from the truth) to seeing too many loved ones suffering the consequences of stubbornness and blind obedience to those who just don't have their best interest at heart.
Well, now I can say, "I told you so," but with great sadness. The attention this study is getting bears witness to the truth that can no longer be hidden.

I'll tell you why the life expectancy is going down: because the Affordable Care Act has made healthcare so goddamned Affordable a great many Americans no longer have medical coverage.

The best insurance premium I can get under the ACA is 4x what my free-market premium was, and my $250 deductible is now $6,000. And that's for notably poorer coverage.

Which means, basically, short of a heart attack or stroke, neither of us are going to a doctor. Fuck, given our actuarial life expectancy, we may not live to pay off our existing medical debt, much less any we might incur in the future. Which, at our age, is quite likely...

Soros is a puppet. A big one, but a puppet none the less. Think in wider terms. The Romans eradicated Israel in 70 AD and it was gone for close to 2,000 years. Two millennia of nothing but wind blowing over sand and the baying goats. So why the Balfour Declaration and why should Israel come back now? Oil.

The 19th Century West industrialized and all that useless mid east sand had oil underneath. Between the two world wars Standard Oil signed a contract with the Saudis to buy their oil at $1 per barrel in perpetuity. Forever, at $1. No adjustment for inflation, no supply/demand stipulations. Who controlled much of the mid east at the turn of the last century? The Ottomans. Where were the Ottomans after WWI? Lawrence of Arabia wasn't about throwing off the yoke of foreign tyranny for the arabs, he was about removing the Ottomans to make room for the British and BP. This was the reason for WWI. The blood fields of Flanders was all about mid east oil. The British and Americans were past the point of open colonization, so they needed a bouncer on the premises to keep everyone in check while the spice flowed — welcome back Israel.

But something has changed considering how many mid east countries have had their governments tampered with recently… Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Yemen. Either their obedience has become questionable or something else is afoot, because the game now has bubbled outside of covert control. The rigid behaviours of Islam are being used to work against them, as they show little flexibility for operating outside their corridors of familiarity. The key for Western people is to see how they're being manipulated as well. The hope is they have the flexibility to see this before it comes to B-52s flying over Mecca. Personally I don't think they'll understand until long after it's happened.

Life expectancy for whites may be the sole driver.
Premature death has been a thing for white Americans for 5 or more years. Sailers has some articles on it. A lot of those premature deaths are due to drug OD including prescription drugs, and things that are stress related like heart attacks. It wasn't news until last year.

Despair causes all sorts of bad reactions. Population replacement, ongoing hate-whitey propaganda, economic problems are all adding up. But I'm totally sure it's just an accidental combination of forces, nothing deliberate. Totally sure.

The State of California has been tracking morbidity of babydoomers since 1990 ( http://www.cdph.ca.gov/programs/ohir/Pages/OHIRreports.aspx )

In summary; Baby Boomers were dying off from Heart Disease, STD's and overdoes for over three decades.

So why wouldn't you expect them to die off earlier then their parents, now that the front of the pack is hitting the mid-seventies?

The National Affordable Care Act is the engine driving the opioid epidemic among whites in America. The surveys it requires to be given to patients determine whether insurance companies pay out, and because one of the questions asks how well the patient's pain was treated it is in the interest of doctors to over prescribe painkillers. Additionally, Obamacare places limits on the number of refills a doctor is allowed to prescribe in a single visit. This has led to a surge in unethical doctors realizing that if they get a patient hooked on a narcotic, they have to come back and pay these now absurd specialist premiums.

On top of all of that you have drug cartels in Mexico and unknown entities in China flooding Heroine and Fentanyl into the country through the southern border. While white people sit and listen to the media mock them as idiots and racists for voting for Trump, we see our loved ones dying from these "deaths of despair".

Considering how few people practiced the religion in the past, that's pretty good.

In any case I suspect the practitioners of the Religio Romana probably said much the same thing about early Christians. Look where they ended up.

In any case while Christianity is far from dead it is in pretty significant decline in the West with Europe mostly Atheist/Agnostic nominally Christian and the US measurably less believing even ignoring the Churchians

More importantly not a single White Christian nation has replacement fertility much less above replacement fertility and the ones that are highly religious aren't doing better . The TFR of Poland is a lot less less than that of White Swedes who are atheist or deist (1.3 for Poland vs. up to 1.9 for Swedes - probably 1.7)

And while yes many Evangelical and LDS families are larger retention isn't always that high either.

In the longer term, its perfectly possible the West may end up no longer Christian in a span of years. There will certainly be Christians and residual beliefs but it may not be of any importance socially

The spiritual ramifications I leave to you

Of course there may also be a revival, its hard to say

Blogger Cail Corishev December 09, 2016 2:05 PM

@75, America has always had atheists and agnostics. They used to have to accept "second-class" status in the sense that they couldn't shop on Sundays and might have to sit quietly through prayers now and then, because that's part of living in a Christian society. That didn't make it a theocracy.

European nations during the height of Christendom were much stricter, often putting limits on whether non-Christians could build houses of worship, what types of business they could conduct, whether Christians were allowed to marry them, etc. So unbelievers were certainly second-class citizens, but those nations weren't theocracies, since they had governments separate from the Church.

They might have looked like theocracies to someone used to today's secular assumptions, but that's a different thing.

One way to get by is on disability. There's lawyers that specialize in getting people approved for it, the market must be there. Once on disability, with a guaranteed income monthly and free or cheap meds, it would be totally easy to just slide and pop pills whenever. That's got to be a factor, the whole "disability lifestyle" and access to opiods it gives.

Wow, I didn't know that. Another issue is that people with diabetes, either Type I or II, are living long enough to reproduce. At one time, the "sugar sickness" was a death sentence. I don't know if Type I diabetes can be passed down genetically, but people with bad eating habits can by force of bad example produce offspring with bad eating habits (think that hideous creature June Shannon and her obese daughter Honey Boo Boo).

We currently see the growth of nationalistic ideologies and I think we will see the growth of nationalistic faiths, including polytheistic faiths. This is nothing new - Eastern Orthodox are organized along national lines, with the Patriarch of Constantinople being the first among equals, Protestantism in the 16th Century appealed to those fed up with a corrupt Italian-dominated Catholic church and Pre-WWI Hungarian nationalists converted to Protestantism vis a vis the Catholic King-Emperor of the Austro-Hungarian empire.

Type 1 diabetes used to be called juvenile diabetes, because the onset is in the very early years. Now females are suddenly getting it upon entering adolescence (I know one such young lady who was diagnosed just a few months ago after a life-threatening crisis). Seems to be one of the damages to females from vaccines... the counterpart to males developing autism.
Bill Gates cites vaccines as one way to reduce population by 10-15% and I think he's underestimating that, given long-term consequences.

@78 There are definitely plenty of other factors that are contributing, but the easiest one to kill is Obamacare.

Unrelated to your response - There is a very real fear among ethical doctors in this country that they are going to be the victims of witch hunts as a result of the growing skepticism toward medicine thanks to cults like Scientology as well as this horse shit pseudoscience blaming things like Autism on vaccinations. I have a close friend who just graduated from med school and he intends to head immediately to Australia.

We need ethical doctors in this country folks, and placing the blame on them entirely for the opioid epidemic is going to drive them away.

I don't think that's even a drop in the bucket on life expectancy. Worth pointing out that doctors with cancer often forgo chemo.

But the decline in life expectancy involves people in their 50's, 40's and even 30's dying of something other than cancer. "White death" is what Sailers is calling the surge in deaths due to OD of various opiates. When black Americans in inner cities were dying in the 90's due to crack cocaine issues, it was a national tragedy and something had to be done. Now white Americans in suburbs and rural areas are dying due to opiod overdoses and it's "mm, nothing to see here". The difference could not be more stark.

It seems you are thinking the generation length will match the average westerner's of today. Considering that such religions are not sexually repressive in any way, the females may be married as young as 13 years old [like they are in the non-western parts of the world] so the generation length would be more 15-20 years rather than the 20-30 years that slow civilisation dwellers like to breed. I may be wrong but polygamy is not an issue among them, so the men may be able to have more than one wife, thus siring more than one equivalent generation with each.
Under these, 7-10 generations would be about a century-fifty years give or take.

Its probable the Heathen Slavs will marry and reproduce younger than most Russians these days and may have a much faster growth rate.

Overall yes its quite possible that if human civilization even survives this century that in time, 20% or even more of the Russian populace could be Heathen

How many of those got imported directly onto welfare?

Virtually none. Professed US Pagans are extremely White and American. Voodoo and Santeria types aren't counted among them

Generally though there are three groups, Pagans who are Wiccans, Witches Druids and the like, usually White liberal females as likely to be on welfare as any of that lot except for Druids who are usually male, the only one of those I know is Micheal Greer (not personally) who is a squared away guy

Inclusive heathens (who can be non White but are usually White and sort of Thor and Odin worshiping Anti Fa's with less drug use) and Heathens, racist and non inclusive. I've met a handful of them, they all seem to have jobs and are always White for obvious reasons. They haven't impressed me much except for Stephan McNallen who is former special forces and a serious guy

Voodoo and Santeria types aren't going to be admitting to it in polls but they are well I have a soft spot for non inclusive Heathens, tolerate sane Pagans and inclusive Heathens but the others not so much
