If you wonder why I left Twitter

Twitter observably does not want anyone to the right of MSNBC to use it. I thought it was interesting that despite having 28k followers, I'm not on the list. Perhaps they realize that I've already walked away from it for good.

No amount of followers is going to protect anyone on this list. They've already made a few test runs at Mike Cernovich and several of the others on this list. It's time to leave Twitter and get on Gab. Twitter is simply not a viable option for anyone who wishes to be able to hold an opinion that diverges from the SJW Narrative.

The list makes it very clear who they hate. Successful conservatives, Alt-Lite figures, and anyone who is even remotely identifiable as being pro-white.

This a good thing in the long run. Once they have banned all the easy targets the SJWs will have to start culling middle of the road, and slightly left of center people, because SJWs must always be on a witch hunt. By then Twitter should be pretty much dead.

We can. But it's a strategically suboptimal tactic that makes Twitter stronger. Better to leave it en masse.

We're not conservatives, we're Alt-Right. We'll use the power of the state liberally against the Left and the liberals. Tactics are not corrupting.

I can't even make a twitter account if I wanted. I tried making one a few weeks ago because guys like Cernovich, Molyneux, Roosh, PJW, etc still primarily use Twitter in lieu of Gab. My account was immediately suspended having made zero tweets and followed zero people, and Twitter demanded that I give them my phone number to unlock it. As it turns out Twitter is able to track your browser fingerprint across multiple browsers, and so anyone who visits what they deem "problematic" thoughtcrime sites get auto-suspended. The only way to bypass I suppose would be to have a throwaway cheap computer/tablet to the side that's for twitter only, though I imagine they'd still freeze you the moment you decide to follow any of the accounts on the above blacklist. Anyway, no fucking way am I giving Twitter my phone number linked to my real identity. All it takes is one fat joke that triggers a feminist shitlib and the government of Canada here will literally arrest me and throw me in jail. And no this is not hyperbole: http://www.infowars.com/man-faces-6-months-in-jail-for-disagreeing-with-feminists-on-twitter/

But you can read tweets without making an account.

It is also a case of energy use in defense vs offense. When your opponent can use minimal energy on offense to make you soend a great deal more energy on defense, then he succeeds in wearing you down and preventing you from using that same energy against him.

In this case, it takes basically nothing to initiate a twitter suspension against someone, but puts to target under both significant emotional stress, and wastage of time trying to deal with being suspended.

Not only that, but all potential targets are under a low level of emotional stress pver whether they will be attacked in this manner.

Moving to Gab, infogalactic, etc, is a necessity.

I laughed when I first saw that list a week ago.

It's such a random, motley collection of accounts who have almost nothing in common ideologically except that they have successfully combated the Left!

Lauren Southern and Ann Coulter on the same list as MisterMetokur and ChateauEmissary (who they have since banned)?!

With appearances by the great Jared Taylor and AmRen (who doesn't use Twitter nearly enough, but is a priority regardless!) and whoever the magnificent bastard that writes on vdare's account?

Yeah, everyone to the right of CNN/MSNBC (is there even a difference nowadays?) is a marked enemy. Not matter how wildly divergent their views are.

Pair that with the Individual Mandate forcing you to purchase a product with a federal gun to your head, as well as Kagan refusing to argue against the precedent of the government forcing you to do things like eat broccoli, and you have evil control freaks.

This is why I say that ignorance can no longer be an excuse for someone being a leftist in the current year. They choose the left because they are evil.

Yeah, you're right about abandoning Twitter. I personally never had any use for it (IMO, nothing serious can be said in 140 letters, unless you're Lao Tzu or St. Francis of Assisi, and I'm neither). And the fact that they behave this way indicates they have zero integrity, so I agree with your position. Hopefully Gab will thrive.

OT, but I just think this is so beautiful that the Vile Ones should have a chance to enjoy it. With a nod to Markku, here is a total Finnish goddess singing a very complex song (both musically and emotionally) in like 25 languages. It's a massive tour de force. Have a good time. If you want me to explain what's going on in this song, I'll be happy to oblige, but prepare yourself for a lot of tediousness. In the meantime, just enjoy, it's exquisite, and a fine expression of certain levels of culture which should be more celebrated.

Someone who did get it was satire sent it on to a mutual hard-core SJW friend of ours, who didn't. The Left thinks that by thought-policing communications (like Twitter) or tossing people in jail for crimethink (Canada, Europe) they actually control what people think and can promote their ideas without limit.

Are people really this clueless? They obviously learned NOTHING from last November.

It never seems to occur to these midwits that the harder they try to stamp out their definition of blasphemy, all they do is
1. Create deep-seated resentment and utter hatred of the left by those they victimize.
2. "Blasphemy" doesn't go away; it just moves into the shadows, where it GROWS.
3. Surprise, surprise! One day that "blasphemy" finds an outlet they never saw coming, and it jumps like the Bogeyman into their faces and slaps them aside like paper tigers.

dc.sunsets' drum: Armies can't resist....!

Trump's election was only the first of what is a snowballing tectonic shift in the ideas that underpin social action on a grand scale.

Leftist desperation is another signal that everyone feels this shift at the subconscious level. They are justifiably terrified! Every single thing they do to stop or reverse this shift only amplifies it.

This is why the Right is emboldened. This is the textbook definition of "being on the right side of history." That's what it feels like when you're in the vanguard of a new paradigm (or better, a return to a prior paradigm.)

Everyone plays their role, however. Leftists can no more capitulate than Rightists could avoid absorption into this new idea stream.

The harder any system attempts to resist an inevitable trend change, the more v-shaped and violent the change when it can no longer be prevented. It's like a dam bursting or a volcano erupting.

I want to see more Leftists lock arms and stand in front of the lava flow.

Well, I will gladly defer to you on the subject of Finnish sociopolitical culture, and if you say she is an obnoxious lesbian, I guess I'll have to take your word for it. But vacuous? Sorry, but nobody who sings like that in 25 languages is vacuous. You may have all sorts of disagreements with her, that's fine, and people may have all sorts of disagreements about say Wagner, but that doesn't change the fact that Wagner is mind-blowing. This girl can sing, and she has taste. She's spot on. It isn't really an arguable point.

What about attacking people who gave good enough service that dykes referred other people to them only to demand a refund when they found out they supported bad thought. http://www.gaypatriot.net/2015/05/22/there-is-no-appeasing-a-fascist-mob/

"This Christian jeweler agreed to custom-make engagement rings for a lesbian couple, knowing that they were a couple, and treated them politely. But when they found out what he really believed about same-sex marriage, even though the man gave them polite service, and agreed to sell them what they asked for, the lesbian couple balked, and demanded their money back — and the mob threatened the business if they didn’t yield. This is very well put and I completely agree, the tactics of the enemy right now are totally idiotic and counter-productive but they must believe they don't have a choice. They're like a person who's been caught in quicksand and they can see no way out. Even though their actions only hasten their sinking they feel they have to do something desperate.

I can't prove it, but it seems they are also doing some kind of thing to make sure that every one of Trumps tweets is swarmed with a shitload of negative snarky leftwinger comments. If you put anything in there, it will get buried.

Noted. Some of them pretty vile. The whole campaign is to just demoralize the right.

It wasn't even this bad for Obama.

Twitter will be done the day Trump moves his account to Gab.

This. All he has to say is "I don't use Twitter any more; I'm on Gab" and Twitter is done.

One thing, Twitter is easy to use but Gab IMHO not so easy. I've contributed a few pounds, hoping.

I find it odd that dicky spencer is listed as "reverted." I still don't quite believe the theory that he's controlled op, but maybe they see him as a useful stooge and foil to progressives, another david duke?

It's not hard. But it needs an app.

I get constant emails from Twatter wanting me to open a BUSINESS account.

Yeah... I'll pay to advertise to a service that bans half the population... where's my coin purse again?

Blogger Dave February 15, 2017 1:52 PM

But it needs an app.

They have an iOS app but the Apple Store is throwing out excuse after excuse why they won't approve it.

The Android app is coming, beta to start anytime. Follow @andrewquebe on Gab for the latest.

Twit will never suspend Donald..it would be a huge PR disaster for them . If you're careful, you can avoid a ban by not re-tweeting stuff that could be offensive or by direct messaging. A lot of people have gotten banned by either retweeting or direct messaging

Blogger Snidely Whiplash February 15, 2017 3:40 PM

So, they business plan is to
1) build a messaging platform that depends on networking effect for success
2) identify the most influential people to 1/2 the population
3) shut down and eventually ban those influencers, giving 1/2 the population less and less reason to use your platform
4) ??????
5) Bankruptcy!!!! I mean PROFIT!!!!

Not sure how that makes sense.

@87 If you're careful, you can avoid a ban by not re-tweeting stuff that could be offensive or by direct messaging.

I read that the second time... and chuckled. When the left, the globalists, and neo-cons are defining what is "offensive", then only thing one can do, is agree with them. To not get eventually get banned.

WONDERFUL!!

Alt tech will overshadow, overwhelm them/

Blogger tublecane February 15, 2017 7:52 PM

@35-They've spent more than a century trying to set things up so that shifts in public opinion don't know effect political power. All the while, of course, trying to influence and use the people for their purposes. Which is why we have been confronted with the odd spectacle of a simultaneously anti-democratic and "power to the people"-type ruling class for several generations. Because some things are still decided democratically, which is why they're trying to "elect a new people" with immigration.

However, you might be surprised how effective they've been. The Managerial State has been in power for almost a century; that was the entire point of the Progressive Movement, to replace democracy with it. Not so much a matter of lagging branches catching up to more responsive branches like the presidency. Notice how, in replacing a member of our ruling judicial oligarchy, Trump has to pull from the same Harvard-Yale pile. Maybe he'll turn out good, maybe he'll go sour. But you've gotta g have repeated success, over and over again, every time you pick a judge. And you're always picking from their pile.

Now,there are about a million tactics that could be used to overcome this, short-term and long. I'm just saying it's not about the gradual change that results from a shift in public opinion. That change won't necessarily affect the judicial branch, which in countless ways is immune from public opinion, despite its supposed democratic oversight.

New battles must needs be fought to win it over. Change in public support, and populist energy motivating Trump's side, helps. But they've already anticipated that part. It's happened before, and they've still won. Which is why, for instance, "Joe McCarthy" is a swear word in American politics.

I don't think that Gab can handle Trump yet. Can it?

Trump should have (and maybe still should) build his own system. Just a place to sign up for notifications that get delivered by email, video streaming, SMS, phone apps, etc. No conversations, no social anything, just a direct broadcast from him to his supporters.

Anonymous SaltHarvest February 15, 2017 11:07 PM

I can just see the mass migration that would be caused by a POTUS fielding a question from press on GAB, but unfortunately the current queue is already quite long.

Oh, so I guess the "Deep State" is the next entity to pass from, "Only a tin-fol hatted conspiratards would ever believe in that!" to "Of course it exists, it's perfectly a normal and benevolent organisation." overnight. cf. Bilderberg, CFR, etc...etc...etc.

The way these loons keep dropping the ball and admitting they are trying (and failing) to run everything form behind the scenes for their own benefit is astounding.

What's next? Hillary leading a coup to claim her rightful place as president because she is the only Illuminati ambassador with legitimate access to the Greys to speak on behalf of humanity and prevent to coming galactic war?

Speaking of which, that link has appeared totally OT in at least a couple of comment sections here so whoever keeps posting it should go outside and try to find a real girlfriend instead.
