Google to flag "offensive content":
Google is now directing its review teams to flag content that might come across as upsetting or offensive in search results. The review teams - comprised of contractors known as "quality raters" - already comb through websites and other content to flag questionable items such as pornography. Google added a new category, "upsetting-offensive," in its guidelines for quality raters. For example, content with "racial slurs or extremely offensive terminology" could now get flagged as such.Frankly, I'd be disappointed if this site didn't suffice to upset and offend the SJW snowflakes. Google and the other big tech companies are setting the stage for some MASSIVE disruption. When they get FoxNewsed, they're going to get FoxNewsed hard.

ya know I think "I am a Rapist" is pretty upsetting... don't you? it should be flagged.
Blacks, jihadis, and other assorted anti-whites are exempt, of course.

"Bigot Misgenders Xirson in public restroom, is made to physically check her privilege"
But in all seriousness, nothing against distance running, but nobody randomly attacks someone training for a jiu jitsu tournament...
On the topic of offensive/upsetting, this post/thread on reddit shows how devastating "Fake American" is. It's a beautiful "Linguistic Killshot", as Scott Adams would say.
What are the best search engines to use to find offensive/honest information?
Blacks, jihadis, and other assorted anti-whites are exempt, of course.
If they were really looking lowest-common-denominator offensive things it wouldn't hurt them. But you know that's not what's going to happen.
#5 maybe it will work.
I myself have been trying to think of ((())) symbol type thing for Americans versus US citizens.
@4:
Dear Runners,
Strap a bokken to your back.
I'm getting to the point where I almost immediately check out anybody accused of being a "racist, neo-Nazi, homophobic, etc". It's like being on a hate list is the best advertising you can get. If the left is trying to suppress somebody, they must be a voice I need to hear.
Global warming is very upsetting we should block it all off. The thought of NYC being underwater by 2015
A Flag False operation.
Basically we cool kids are being "othered" by the dorks and mean retards. I'll be ok how about you gents?
I can't find the "tip line", where can I report offensive content to Google? #GoogleLIvesMatter offends me.
In the internet safe Space, everyone can hear you scream. Most won't care. Some will use it for targeting the way an owl can hear a mouse scamper.
It's not like a search engine is a hard thing to build. The hardest part is deciding the criteria for relevance that you sort results by.
Google search has gone to shit over the last decade too. You can't really find new and interesting websites using Google like you used to be able to in the 90s and early 2000s using all these diverse search engines.
I'm not a tech guru, but does this have the potential to bifurcate the internet if the mainstream push it too far?
> What are the best search engines to use to find offensive/honest information?
The two best alternatives to Google seem to be IxQuick and Duck Duck Go. And there's always Bing, but I trust Microsoft even less than I do Google.
> Frankly, I'd be disappointed if this site didn't suffice to upset and offend the SJW snowflakes.
I assume you'll let everyone know via Gab if anything untoward happens?
This is why I've stopped using google. Honestly, it still give better results for some things, like image searches, but I can't trust them any more.
When you've dropped below Microsoft on my trustometer, you're not doing well.
The tighter you grasp, Google, the more Generation Z shall slip through your fingers....
Please, by all means, continue your rapid descent into uncool puritanism. I don't plan on interrupting you.
Yes, but I'm sure they'll let "Let Me Goatse That For You" slide right by ...
It'll help me find the sites I want to visit that much easier. An indicator of where there's RealTalk.
That's interesting, because Google used to deny they had "quality raters" at all. I knew a web site owner whose site suddenly disappeared from Google's rankings -- in my opinion, because she was trading links with a lot of other sites, and they decided she was manipulating PageRank and manually put a "flag" on her site to drop its rankings. She pleaded with support people at Google to tell her what the problem was so she could fix it, and they just kept pointing her to their documentation on making your site search engine friendly. They insisted they didn't do what I said they were doing, and of course I had no way to prove it; it just seemed obvious that you'd build a manual override into any automated rankings system. She completely revamped her site, dropped the link trading, and spent tons on SEO companies, to no avail -- the only thing that made sense was that her site was flagged.
Google left "do no evil" behind long ago.
The Google image search isn't trustable either, just search for "white couples" then count the pictures of googles that return.
So I guess Huckleberry Finn is banned again?
I'm flagging MrMantraMan for hate speech "mean retards". All the true tards I've ever met were a very pleasant bunch.
True story...I once drove a school bus full of retards to a Christmas party being held for them at a local church.
Mental midgets on the other hand are vicious little ankle biters and should be punted into the next block with steel-toed boots.
It is amazing to me that the same people that brought us fag weddings, 50+ genders, and every other social disorder are morphing into puritans. I understand why this is so but it is still amazing.
When the dissonance causes this all to blow up it is going to be epic.
Google left "do no evil" behind long ago.
Actually that was "don't be weevils" but no one noticed. Like the fine print on a software agreement.

Yep, I'd say that's pretty darn offensive.
The rating system:
1 - Makes me feel bad
2 - Don't feel safe
3 - Literally can't breathe right now
4 - It's like Hitler just grabbed my crotch
5 - Wow...just wow.
Will I no longer be able to search for Dead Milkmen sonmoron Google any more?
Broadway hits? The Motherfucker With The Hat?
"All the true tards I've ever met were a very pleasant bunch."
Tards can lead kick-ass lives now, scrote.
Yep. They can even be Hollywood stars like Bad Affect.
Um, they are private company. This is fully within their rights.
If Vox Popoli gets flagged Google is going to be in the position of censoring content that it hosts. That's just so rich it hurts.
So I expect this proctological exam is going to extend into Google's YouTube as well.
@36 We don't care about their rights. They can bake the fucking cake too.
A Deplorable Paradigm Is More Than Twenty Cents wrote:Actually that was "don't be weevils" but no one noticed.
And they can't even manage that. Sad.
My son used to be a quality control analyst (contract) for Google. The remit was to check the results against the search terms, to see if the searcher got the results he was seeking. Before you start they ask if you are okay with checking pr0n searches, and he thought he was... Imagine being asked to check if every depraved bastard's porn search was successful. He thinks he lost his soul on "niggerchink prisn rap". And yes, the searcher did indeed find what he was looking for.
Anyway, this will be preformed by contract piece work from people who stopped caring several years ago. And will be abandoned quietly in a couple of months.
Vox, if you fail to make the list it simply means you need to turn it back up to 13 again. 10 just won't hack it.
Know what I find offensive? A company who went all in with FB, Microsoft and others and let China implant spyware in their technology for the purposes of tracking that country's citizenry.
They have no room to snivel about what is offensive. They lost that right as soon as they signed the bottom line with Chinese commie leaders.
If you offend a SJW at Google, do you get a badge you can display on your web site?
Will there be levels? Offending one SJW could be Bronze. Two could be Silver. Offending the entire team would be Gold.
Also: can I set a preference whereby Google only returns offensive content, or at least sorts it to the top?
You are too short for this ride. These faggots faint at a Monty Python sketch. They are beneath the score of Nate.
Kratman has already written the manual for how the reconquista will handle them.
It involved woodchippers
Scorn that is
This could bring the internet into the civil war,and cause it to spread like wildfire
I think I already witnessed this in practice last weekend.

Broadway hits? The Motherfucker With The Hat?
9/11 the musical yes its real but none of that downer stuff about the towers
"If you never thought you’d live to see the phrase “9/11 musical,” you’re not alone. Come From Away, which opened on Broadway last night,"
"There is no footage of the towers, no recitation of facts we know all too well, and nary a detailed description of the scene on the ground in New York. This is all for the best. One of the more serious consequence the show addresses, aside from the obvious loss of life, is knee-jerk Islamophobia. "
Samoya doubles as Ali, a world-class chef who is strip-searched before reboarding his flight."
http://www.towleroad.com/2017/03/come-from-away/
@49 - it's not even possible to parody these people any more. They are living parodies. CNN has become fake news, while The Onion becomes real life.
@49 - Samoya doubles as Ali, a world-class chef who is strip-searched before reboarding his flight."
I'm afraid to ask, but...does this scene tie into "Everyone Has AIDS" from Team America: World Police?
> Um, they are private company. This is fully within their rights.
Whoosh.
> So I expect this proctological exam is going to extend into Google's YouTube as well.
I think it started there.
The globalists lost their major actuator in their control system: MSM news authority
They are trying regain the position of being the only news again by censoring alternative
news. This is doubling down on stupid.
Now that millions are tuning out the fake news and openly mocking it scares the shit
out of them because it may take another generation for the MSM to be effective again if it can
recover at all.
Their billions of dollars of investments in the MSM is now wasted.
I'm afraid to ask, but...does this scene tie into "Everyone Has AIDS" from Team America: World Police?
Of course not its "Everyone That's white Has Islamophobia"

It won't just be Google. When The Valley finally crashes it's going to be an extinction level event. They are all drastically over valued as stock.
@36. renegen
Um, they are private company. This is fully within their rights.
No, they are publically traded company.
Also, Google is effectively a monopoly and arguably quite vulnerable to an anti-trust suit.
Up until now Google has been very careful not to conduct Group Boycotts Against Their Customers but that appears to be changing.
"Hitler grabbed my pussy" came up on Bing first link to a Ted Rall rant
This could bring the internet into the civil war,and cause it to spread like wildfire
It's also a very convenient way to start prosecuting people for "hatespeech".....

New York Assemblyman Unveils Bill To Suppress Non-Government-Approved Free Speech
In a bill aimed at securing a "right to be forgotten," introduced by Assemblyman David I. Weprin and (as Senate Bill 4561 by state Sen. Tony Avella), liberal New York politicians would require people to remove ‘inaccurate,’ ‘irrelevant,’ ‘inadequate’ or ‘excessive’ statements about others...

@36 - Um, they are private company. This is fully within their rights.
Just like it's within a baker's rights to refuse to bake a cake for a gay wedding.
OH...WAIT....
@60 - oh boy. Does Assemblyman David I. Weprin have any idea who is president?
A warm summer day...a cool breeze...a video feed of Rachel Maddow going to prison for repeating fake news about the God Emperor.
I've been using Duck Duck Go for about a year now, and I'm generally happy with my search results. I have no idea what level of convergence they are at, but at least they claim they don't "track you", and they are neither Google nor Microsoft.
It's extremely easy to set them (or whoever) as your default search engine , in any modern browser.

The YouTube purge started some time ago:
YouTube "heroes"
The big fear I have is Google has enough cash to effectively close out any "Fox News" competition simply by purchasing the entire operation, making everyone sign non-compete clauses in the buyout and silencing them with a boatload of cash. Lawfare against the recalient to tie up their time and resources, and costing up to foreign governments to get competition closed down there.
Warfare generally does go to those with larger battalions and the better logistical setup, and companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft and so on are certainly standing astride the internet with their dragons hoards of cash.
Perhaps I am too pessimistic (and Jerry Pournelle reminds us despair is a mortal sin), but I'm not seeing the way forward yet. Gab.ai, Brave and Infogalactic are indeed great initiatives, and I certainly try to make a point of promoting them, but what is that next step.....
